PRP intimate rejuvenation for men, sometimes known as the P-Shot, is a non-surgical treatment that uses a small sample of your own blood to support the health of the intimate tissues. At OLA Aesthetics in West Perth, it is performed privately by our registered doctors as a considered, personalised approach to men's intimate wellness.

What Is PRP Intimate Rejuvenation for Men?

The treatment uses platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, a concentrate prepared from a small sample of your own blood. A doctor draws the sample, then separates the platelets using a centrifuge. These platelets carry growth factors that the body uses in its natural repair processes.

The prepared PRP is carefully injected into specific areas of the intimate tissue, where it is intended to support local circulation, tissue quality and sensitivity over the following weeks. Because the PRP comes entirely from your own blood, no foreign substance or medication is introduced.

How Does It Work?

Platelets do more than help blood clot. They release growth factors that signal the body to begin its natural repair and renewal processes. When concentrated PRP is placed into the intimate tissues, the intention is to encourage local blood supply and support the responsiveness of the tissue over time.

PRP has been used across medicine for many years, including in orthopaedic, dental and aesthetic settings. Results develop gradually rather than immediately, and individual responses vary.

The OLA Experience

Consultation

Your experience begins with a private consultation with Dr Indi, who will assess your needs and discuss whether this treatment is suitable for you. Some concerns are well suited to this approach and others are better addressed differently, and we will tell you plainly which applies.

Preparation

Once you decide to proceed, you will receive clear pre-treatment guidance. This generally includes pausing certain medications such as blood thinners, avoiding alcohol for at least 24 hours, and staying well hydrated to assist with the blood draw.

Treatment

A small blood sample is taken from your arm. While the PRP is prepared in a centrifuge, a topical numbing cream is applied for your comfort. Dr Indi then injects the PRP into the areas discussed at your consultation. The injection itself takes only a few minutes.
