What FUE is, and why we work this way
A hair transplant doesn't create new hair. It redistributes your own, moving follicles from an area where hair grows reliably to an area where it no longer does. What separates a good result from an obvious one is how carefully that's done.
With follicular unit extraction, follicles are removed individually from the donor area rather than by cutting out a strip of scalp. That single difference is why FUE leaves only tiny, scattered marks instead of one long linear scar, why recovery tends to be quicker, and why shorter hairstyles remain an option afterwards.

Your journey begins with a private consultation with an OLA doctor. We assess your scalp, hair characteristics, donor density and the pattern of your hair loss, and we talk honestly about what is realistic for you. Any underlying factors that could affect your result are identified early, so your plan is built on a complete picture.
A plan designed around you
Together we map your hairline and the areas to restore, then design a graft plan matched to your features, your goals and the donor hair available. Your donor supply is finite, so it's directed where it will do the most.
The procedure
On the day, the treatment area is comfortably numbed with local anaesthetic. Individual follicles are extracted from your donor area and placed into the recipient site with precise control over angle, depth and direction. The technique is unhurried by design protecting graft integrity is the priority throughout.
Recovery & aftercare
You'll leave with clear, tailored aftercare guidance. Tiny crusts form around each graft and settle within about 7–10 days, and mild redness or swelling early on is normal. Transplanted hair sheds before regrowing an expected part of the process, and we stay in contact through your follow-ups as growth develops.
Is an FUE hair transplant right for you?
A hair transplant suits people in good general health who have a sufficient donor area, stable and well-defined hair loss, and clear, realistic expectations of what surgery can achieve. It can be an option for genetic hair loss, a receding hairline, thinning at the crown, traction loss, or scarring.
It isn't right for everyone. Where hair loss is still actively progressing, very diffuse, or the donor area can't properly support the result, a transplant may not be the answer and other treatments may serve you better. Suitability is a medical decision, not a checkbox, and if surgery isn't the right path for you, we'll tell you.

Results, and the timeline behind them
Transplanted hair sheds within the first few weeks an expected part of the process, not a setback. New growth typically begins from around 3–4 months, with results maturing over roughly 6 to 12 months as the transplanted follicles settle and thicken. Because outcomes develop gradually and individually, patience is part of the plan, and your follow-up appointments exist to track that progress with you.
